The Unmasking Brain Injury Project is a powerful awareness initiative that highlights the widespread impact of brain injury and stroke while empowering survivors to share their stories. Participants receive pre-made masks to decorate, using art and creative expression to represent their personal experiences, challenges, strengths, and hopes.

Through these masks and the stories behind them, survivors help others better understand life after brain injury. The project gives voice to experiences that are often unseen, promotes empathy and awareness, and reminds the community that individuals with brain injuries deserve dignity, understanding, inclusion, and the opportunity to thrive.
