About my Practice
I offer comprehensive evaluations and follow-up individual, group and community-based therapy to individuals in Howard county, MD with neurologic impairments, including brain injury, stroke, or other progressive diseases of the brain. I use research-based treatment approaches to address functional, life-centered goals. I strive to fully integrate the family into the rehabilitation process. My program focuses on overcoming obstacles and achieving success in home, school, work or community activities.
My Expertise
I have served individuals with TBI, stroke, concussion, and neurologic conditions such as Parkinson’s Disease, MS and Dementia for over 20 years in the outpatient rehabilitative setting at some of the most esteemed institutions in the nation. I have extensive experience working with patients with Aphasia and TBI and am passionate about what I do and the families I serve.
My Process
After contacting my office by phone or email we will set up a complimentary telephone consultation so I can better understand specific issues and priorities and determine candidacy for the program. This is followed by a comprehensive evaluation and written evaluation summary. We will together develop a treatment plan that incorporates functional goals and facilitates a smooth reentry into hobbies, school, work and home or community activities.
